At Dyzle, we see hardware as a tool, not the solution itself. The real value of temperature monitoring lies in how the data collected is deployed. Yet reliable hardware is an essential part of our overall solution. That is why we have been developing and manufacturing our own hardware for more than 20 years. In this article, we will tell you more about the functionalities and advantages of our D-series and W-series hardware.

How does the D series wireless temperature monitoring work?

The D Series is a wireless sensor network developed entirely in-house by Dyzle. This series was one of the first IoT solutions and has been refined and expanded over the years. The D-Series sensors provide accurate measurements and can be deployed anywhere, whether in buildings or transportation equipment.

In addition to temperature, D-Series sensors can measure other data, such as relative humidity, air pressure and door sensors. For specific applications, such as cleanrooms, we offer sensors that can measure different values simultaneously, including Milliampere (mA) sensors that can integrate existing sensors with mA output directly into Dyzle.

The sensors send the data via a special Wi-Fi protocol to the access point. This access point collects the data from dozens of sensors and sends it via a secure connection to our servers. Thanks to redundancy and robust security, data loss or misuse is excluded. The data stored in Dyzle’s online environment is permanently accessible and secure.

The D Series is easy to use: you only need power to monitor your entire cold chain, anywhere in the world.

Advantages of D-series hardware

  • Flexible placement of sensors.
  • Easily expandable without complex infrastructure.
  • Includes connectivity, with no additional investment in network equipment.
  • No local software installations required.
  • Complies with GDP and GAMP guidelines.
  • A lifespan of over 10 years.

The new W series from Dyzle

The W Series was developed in close cooperation with our customers and was launched in 2020. This wired solution is ideal for applications where very short measurement intervals are required, for example pressure differentials in clean rooms. The W Series works fully integrated with Dyzle’s validated online environment.

This series allows you to use large numbers of sensors maintenance-free. Current sensors can be easily transferred to the W Series, saving time and cost. This makes the W Series perfect for hospitals, laboratories and other environments with stringent requirements. Both series of hardware from Dyzle can be used interchangeably and side-by-side, you won’t notice any difference at all.

Why choose the W series?

  • Ideal for existing sensor networks without validated temperature monitoring.
  • Maintenance-free operation for a wide range of sensors.
  • Suitable for cleanrooms and laboratories.
  • Easy to expand
  • Compatible with existing sensors.
  • No local software installation required.
  • Data remains secure even during power or connection interruptions.
